On behalf of the members of the Town of Sturbridge Fire Department, I would like to
thank you for taking the time to visit our Web page. The Sturbridge Fire Department is
the sole provider of fire protection, rescue, emergency medical services, and fire
prevention and education programs to the Town of Sturbridge.  Founded in 1934 as a
largely volunteer effort, the department has grown over the years to include having
personnel on duty in the station 24 hours a day in order to respond efficiently to any
calls for service from our customers.

As a team, we strive daily to prepare ourselves for whatever situation we may be called
to assist, and consistently work together to better ourselves through training and
education. Our priority is to deliver the highest quality emergency services within our
community when duty calls. Our goal is to ensure the citizens that live or work in our
community know that the members of the Sturbridge Fire Department are ready to
respond whenever help is called for.

Please take a few moments to look through our web page and read about our history,
view our apparatus, and learn about many of the programs and activities that our
department provides.

Sincerely,
