STORYTIME REGISTRATION SPRING 2011
Our story times are filled with great books, songs, finger rhymes, puppetry, and crafts and are designed to promote emerging literacy skills, social development, and a lifelong love of reading. Age groups are: Early Literacy and Fun (ELF) for 9-18 months (THURS 10:45 AM); SPRITES: 18-30 months (TUES 10:45 AM): PIXIES: 2.5 to 4.5 years (FRI 10:45 AM) and GNOMES: 4.5 to 6 years (TUES 1:30PM)
The 6 week winter session will run from the week of March 7 through the week of May 9.
Classes will be limited in order to maintain a high quality program your family will enjoy. Selections will be made by random lottery.

ORIGAMI CLUB
MAR. 13, APR. 17, MAY TBD 2:00-4:00 P.M. (NO SUMMER MEETINGS)
Come learn, teach or share origami with other paper-folders. Display your models, lean to read diagrams or teach a new fold to others
Beginners to Complex Folders:
all are welcome an no previous folding experience is required, but children age 10 yrs. and under must be accompanied by an adult.

TANTASQUA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WILL OFFER 6 WEEKS OF COMPUTER CLASSES AT THE JHL. ANYONE CAN MAKE A RESERVATION FOR 1-1 TIME WITH A STUDENT TEACHER FOR SPECIFIC HELP ON APPLICATIONS SUCH AS EMAIL, FACEBOOK, SKYPE OR WORD. PATRONS CAN ALSO DROP IN DURING THIS TIME FOR INSTRUCTION ON OTHER TYPES OF APPLICATIONS-WITH THEIR OWN COMPUTERS OR THEY CAN USE ONE OF THE FOUR LAPTOPS WE HAVE AVAILABLE.
