September 13, 2004 Recreation Meeting Minutes
Meeting came to order 6:05 pm
Present at the meeting MaryLou Volpe, Al Jones, Leila Glaser, Robert Provost, Terry Ryan and Lynne Girouard

Skate park Gift Account $618.27.

Lynne to speak with Jim and the personnel committee concerning additional Staff at the Recreation Area and an increase to Lynne’s hourly rate All in Favor
Greg to do list for the Fall has been submitted
Concert thank you have gone out to all the summer performers
Volleyball and the Men’s 3on3 Basketball Information has been submitted to the area newspapers All teams from last year have been notified
Looking to start Wednesday October 6, 2004 waiting on High School ok
The following sign and property use has been approved by the Recreation Committee
Jette / Wedding / September 18, 2004 11-12pm
Harvest Fesitval / Town Common / October 22,23&24th
Summer Concert recap of season all concerts went very well
The committee has been asked to review FY 06 Betterment requests and vote on them for our next meeting
Tree lighting ceremony is scheduled for Friday, December 3, 2004 Committee has asked about a bonfire at this years event.

The Recreation Committee would like to see an increase in Team sports for next years budget at the present $3.31 per child an increase to 7,500.00 would give $5.00 per child ALL in favor
League meeting scheduled for Monday November 1, 2004 at 7:00pm
Committee to vote on Recreation Area Rules for next Meeting
