Central Mass Paddle Sports program for the Summer Recreation Program for a weekly program has been accepted by the recreation committee to be offer this coming summer. We will submit to the request to the Betterment Committee $450.00

Skatepark Committee is no longer according to Mike Hager’s email - Lynne will check ramps and see if someone will repair if needed.

OLD BUSINESS
Tree Lighting anyone interested in attending or any group interested in selling hot chocolate, coffee and cookies Please let lynne Know ASAP.
Spoke to Tom Chamberlain on building a bonfire for the Tree Lighting Ceremony. We will need some man power DPW and a few committee members. The fire needs to be placed on a raised platform( DPW has a steel plate) or in barrels ( 1st Night) around the Town Common both need to be raised onto cinder blocks ( DPW) We need to make sure that the fire is completely out. The Committee would like to see the barrels used for the Tree Lighting Volunteers are needed !! November 1,st We will hopefully have a list of interested parties.
MaryLou will check to see if the Student Council would be interested in selling refreshments at the Treee Lighting Event.
Leila can get the barrels if we have enough volunteers
REC AREA
Signage has been approved The committee would like to see three different signs for the Recreation Area SKATE PARK, BEACH AREA (located on the lifeguard chair) and GENERAL REC RULES ( to be posted at the bath house)
