This vernal pool in the spring has wood frogs, salamandars and fairy shrimp, the water rises to between 2-3 feet deep. Watch for seasonal photos of the same pool in Winter and Spring. Photos of the fairy shrimp, egg masses, tadpoles and salamandar larvae will be shown when the pool is studied in the spring.
