National Grid has requested permission to perform "Enhanced Storm Mitigation Work" on the below listed streets starting on Monday January 30th. The enhanced mitigation work consists of identification and removal of hazardous trees and limbs. All work has been reviewed and approved by the Tree Warden. For trees that NGRID has identified located on private property, the property owner will be notified and permission requested. This is not a routine tree pruning program, but focuses on those trees that due to their present condition and/or storm damage should be removed to improve electrical reliability. Lewis Tree Company is the contractor working for National Grid.
- Mashapaug Road,
- Old Route 15 from Mashapaug Road to the State Line,
- South end of Leadmine Road,
- Leno Road,
- Vinton Road, and
- all private roads around Leadmine Pond.
