1. Do you have to be a member of the Senior Center to participate in the programs and activities?
A. A qualifying membership fee is not required to receive services or participate in programs and activities.
The Friends of the Sturbridge Seniors are the fundraising arm of the Council on Aging. The Friends group membership is $5 annually. The money they collect and raise helps to support the Senior Center.
2. How do I sign up for lunch?
A. Meals are served at the Senior Center at 11:45 a.m. Monday through Friday. Telephone Mary Goggin, Tri-Valley Elder Services Site Manager at 508-347-5063 at least 24 hours before the meal you wish to attend. Tri-Valley requests a donation of $2.00 for each meal for seniors 60 years of age or older ($5.00 for those under 60).
The Sturbridge/Fiskdale Senior Center is the municipal resource for services, assistance and programs for all seniors in the community.
